You will receive 10 Ostrich Fern Roots Organically Grown in the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee. The roots you will receive will be ready to transplant or for medicinal use. 

Planting:

In a well-prepared bed, plant the rhizome in the ground, right below the soil surface, with the bud pointed upright. Space rhizome pieces 6 inches apart with rows 6 to 12 inches apart. Add a thick layer of mulch, using hardwood leaves or shredded hardwood bark. The mulch should be raked back to a depth of 1 to 2 inches before the plants emerge in the spring.
