The sequel was released four months after the success of the previous game. The color of the cartridge is yellow. As with the previous game, a sticker for the purpose of decorating the Game Boy body is included as a bonus. The player character is Mikachu, who controls her and takes care of Tamagotchi.

In this work, we will train the Tamagotchi “Mushitchi” of the forest and the Tamagotchi “Sakanatchi” of the sea, which will appear for the first time in this work. This idea was based on the actual machine “Found in the Forest!! Tamagotchi” and “Found in the Sea!! Tamagotchi. It is like a parallel world with the actual machine.

The screen structure, graphics, and in-game music are borrowed from the previous game (there are also new BGMs such as study games and scholastic contests), and there are basically no major changes to the training method.

The main changes from the previous work are that you can now call out to the Tamagotchi, the cold has been changed to an injury, the injury from a falling rock, the injection has been changed to an ointment, the hidden parameters of selfishness and stress can be seen by hitting the command in the previous work, but it is no longer seen in this work, and it has been changed to a specification that causes stress every time you go to a tournament. The toilet system is gone, the variety of graves differs depending on the Tamagotchi, and the mood improvement game was “Hoi over there!” However, there are many cases where this work has been changed to “panel flipping”.

At the same time, only one mushichi and one fish can be raised.

The gameplay has been further enhanced by the addition of new elements such as movement on the map screen, egg searching, Tamagotchi exchange with communication cables, and “frozen sleep” that temporarily stops the growth of Tamagotchi.
